I see my role as the following:

1) The person make sure no people who are acting insane and/or irrational take over the post office (beyond normal tolerances, ha ha). And no assholes;

2) Being the ultimate responsibly making sure the Black Rock City Post Office goes this year, including funding, facade, recruitment, publicity, website, training, camp layout (can we get a shower up in this joint?!), etc etc. Someone has to be ultimately held responsible, and this year, I'm it. Doesn't mean I have to be the manager each of these functions, but if the thing falls flat -- you know who to blame: me;

3) Making sure the we bring the BRCPO to something higher than we were before. I believe we can do this. I want people's experience to be more intense, more pleasant, more extreme, more radical, more mind expanding, and more free (no censorship!) than ever.
